Rookies is a privately-owned business located in South Tampa, servicing Greater Tampa Bay, and surrounding areas. The goal of Rookies is to provide high-quality baseball and softball instruction from highly-talented professional instructors to young athletes in the Tampa Bay area. Instruction is provided on-site in the local area and at the Rookies facility.

After School program is offered Monday-Friday from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, at Elite Game Speed,

Program includes;

  • Alloted time for home work, school projects (Available tutor on site)
  • Structured training program in Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, Catching.

Rookies Story

The Rookies Batting Cages program was created in 1996 in Winnipeg Canada with the purpose of creating a professional baseball & softball environment for developing young athletes. Our goal is to teach children of all ages the fundamentals of the game, and to teach more advanced young athletes the finer points of the game.
